A “Tale of two corners”
Fateh Hyderabad AFC’s third consecutive win against Chennaiyin FC Reserves was earmarked by grit and determination as the Nizams sealed a memorable win late in the game.
Both the goals came from corners, delivered by Bedashwor Singh, incidentally, on loan from Chennaiyin FC. One was headed in by Naro Hari Sreshtha in the first half while the other was slammed home by Naga striker, Irrangau in the 86th minute. It truly was a “Corner to corner” affair!
I am proud of the boys who did not give up. We kept trying and we kept pushing. Eventually, we got what we deserved!
