FATEH HYDERABAD AFC

SO NEAR, YET SO FAR….

Fateh Hyderabad AFC suffered their second loss of the season against Ozone FC on the 21st of March at the Bangalore Football Stadium dampening their hopes for qualifying to the Final Round of the Hero Second Division League. It was a tough game which saw The Nizams enjoying majority of the goal scoring opportunities in the first half which they didn’t capitalize on resulting in Ozone FC scoring 2 goals in quick succession on the counter.

The performance in the second half was more improved as Naro found the net pulling one back for the boys. Ozone capitalized on a defensive error and scored their third. The highlight of the game was Edmond Peprah’s goal which he scored from a long distance, it was an absolute delight. The boys conceded a penalty in the dying minutes of the game which was enough for us to bow out of that fixture.

“We lost the game. It was a tough game which we had to win. We knew what the game would be like which was us pressing and attacking and them defending with good shape and counter. We had chances in the first 15 to 18 minutes. In the end Ozone deserved to win, but we showed tremendous character…..
